And indeed it is!!!
I love books! And they are the ones most responsible for my safe journey through this much distance in my life.
Books! Wikipedia describes books as ‘a set or collection of written, printed, illustrated, or blank sheets, made of paper, parchment, or other various material, usually fastened together to hinge at one side’.
Alternatively, books can be defined as binded stacks of very thin wood, containing words in intelligent meaningful order to form sentences often explaining tales or things of utter significance to us. They can help you understand facts about life, or anything about our spiritual existence, or the religious truths, or probably something about the scientific truths around us. They can also be used for entertainment as the fiction books contain various kinds of lies just for us to enable us enjoy our time.
Many of us, and in fact most of us feel they are needed just to get through the academic years and thus push them aside once the academic times pass by. But the fact is that these are should be read throughout our life. They have great ability to transform our inner souls and help us lead our lives in a much better manner. Books are true sources of knowledge, fun and enlightenment.
Yes, books have great ability to transform people. They can also work as vents to reduce our worries. People like books of their kind. I mean to say that people like the stories and thoughts where they can find themselves and they would love to read lines which reduce their inner fire or urge for something. People like to read a thing similar to what they are feeling.
Haven’t we seen a person cry while watching movies or reading books? Movies are the manifestations of the director’s understanding of a book or story. But books are raw and each one of us has the right to interpret it in our own way. Nobody would force their depictions, unlike the movies, where all the people are made to have only one thinking – the director’s thinking.
A book is like a garden carried in the pocket.~Chinese Proverb
And indeed it is. With numerous books available on every single topic and subject, a reader can go limitless when choosing what to read.
A person keeping books as his companion will never feel lonely. Books won’t deny their company when you need them. They won’t walk away when you ask for their support, unlike many human friends. They will always be with you, supporting with all they have, while demanding nothing from you.
There is a great deal of difference between an eager man who wants to read a book and a tired man who wants a book to read.~G.K. Chesterton
As the above saying goes, reading books should be enjoyed. Only then can the waves of words wash away all our doubts and fears to instill new enthusiasm of reaching horizons, in us.
So, just grab the one you enjoy.
